Emily was born with rear leg paralysis and has been a feature of Palolem ever since. She has been cared for by locals and tourists alike, but as she is getting older she really needs extra care. We’ve taken her to ARC where she will stay with us for the remainder of her days. Here she will never have to worry about finding food or water, finding somewhere dry to sleep in the rainy season, and we can keep an eye on her paralysis and the associated issues that so frequently arise as a result of the condition.
